Note to Self

Note to Self is a collection which was made in 2022 May. This Collection has been inspired by Tarot Cards and the Unknown possibilities the future holds. Each Tarot Cards has its symbols and hidden meanings which allows different perspectives and interpretations. The project share a journey of self discovery through the prints of a tarot card, encouraging us to perceive life as a doorway of possibilities, a space of potential, a time of curiosity and wonder and an honouring of your trueself. This collection was made through the subtraction cutting method, which means everytime you cut the outcome will be different, allowing one to trust their intuition to create a new design. In addition to this, I have embroidered words of affirmation as a reminder to the wearer that nomatter what the situation is in life they matter.
