Transcending Dialogue: A conversation between life and death
We as humans are constantly creating memories. My collection is addressing the fine line that is drawn between nostalgia and “living in the past”. Is it such a bad thing to live in stories you had once been a part of and rewrite them with a retrospective lens? Nostalgia is comforting and warm after all. As such, the clothes one wears are not regal because of their generational pass down but because of the stories and the emotions they represent. Mine (A)ddress aims to capture and restore these memories by embedding nostalgia into the garments. This project reinstates that and allows you to wrap yourself in treasured moments of sheer simplicity in way of what you wear. So let’s wear our stories on our sleeves!
